Volleyball on Tuesday evening was really a great experience for everyone.
 What a wonderful group. Thanks Nicole, Adam, Pam, Kort, Nimish, and Dr. Adiah for making it a memorable evening. We will be meeting again next Tuesday evening, Aug. 17, at 6 PM. I will be wearing a "CHICAGO VEG" badge again, and this time will also attach a vertical strip that says "CHICAGO VEG" on the post that holds the net. Nicole, will you be bringing your own ball? Whoever is planning to come for this event please add a reply. If you just feel like hanging out on the beach or having a little volley that's fine too. |

CHANGING VENUE for Tuesday evening game, AUGUST 17th (tomorrow night): The NEW MEETING PLACE is at FOSTER BEACH which is located right at the end of Foster Ave. Time of the event remains the same: 6:00 PM -- WE WILL BE EASY TO SPOT -- THE VOLLEYBALL AREA IS MUCH SMALLER -- I WILL BE WEARING MY "CHICAGO VEG" badge. We will play for a couple of hours. I expect to arrive by 5:45. There are three of us so far. No need to add a message. Just come by. I will try to have a net for the game or possibly we can do what we did last week and use someone else's net. |

UPDATING VOLLEYBALL:
We have a net and a ball, so we are ready for tomorrow (Tuesday) evening at 6:00 PM at Foster Beach. The weather has been super and it will be so nice spending time at the beach on a breezy evening. In case you don't know it, Foster Beach is really nice. |
