Check out Gyood Ice Cream Parlor at 2048 W. Belmont they have very good non-dairy, 100% lactose free soft serve ice cream. It’s yummy!!! I hadn't heard of this place until I saw the Groupon deal yesterday!
$4 for $10 Worth of Dairy-Free Icy Treats at Gyood! One of my friends noticed that the soft serve has _sodium caseinate_ in it, though, so even though the FDA considers that "non-dairy", it still has animal products in it. They do, however, have eight flavors of Temptation vegan ice cream, or so I hear from friends. You can buy this Groupon for another day and a half (and it expires in March). Maybe everybody should get one and we can all go there for a Meetup one day! |
