Introduction

I like being around vegans,vegetarians and health enthusiasts. It's nice to be able to go to a restaurant where I can find something that I can eat on the menu. I can't stop talking about nutrition because it's one of my passions.

How did you hear about the group? (a friend, Facebook, an invite, Meetup search, etc.)

I did a search for veggie groups on Meetup.

What's your favorite pastime?

I really enjoy taking very long nature or architectural walks, especially in Fall. I can spend my time while I walk thinking about the mysteries of the universe or listening to music. Usually, I walk alone, but it's great to walk with friends too.

What book would you recommend to your friends?

There are several. I think that every veggie should know about nutrition. This is why I encourage people to read Eat To Live and Eat For Health by Dr Joel Fuhrman. These books provide the basics that are necessary to pursue a healthful diet.

If you will win 10 million dollars, what would you do?

I'd donate money to animal rights and environmental groups and spend more time volunteering with them. I'd also quit my job and spend much of my time pursuing healthful and intellectually oriented activities. Maybe, I'd study to become a dietitian.
