Wow, this was great. I could barely move after the vegetarian feast which included a Chilean style Dal and Quinao Pilaf.. and then they brought out desserts! The performances upstairs in the hall/temple were a lovely tribute to Buddha's Birthday, even if you weren't Buddhist, with all of the beautiful lit lanterns adorning the room..

It was really a feast! Plenty of food and tons of desserts! The concert was really nice too!

I found it to be informative and I'm glad I attended. I got several new topics for me to research further, as well as book titles and web sites. I'd like to see similar events in the future, not every month, but interspersed with movie/discussions, pot lucks and others.

I'm really glad that you had this event. I don't always have the time to do the research myself on the best ways to eat in order to be a healthy vegan. Besides, there is so much information out there it is overload at times. This presentation solved both of those problems and I trust the answers because it is coming from an expert/ reputable source. I prefer and will attend these types of informative events. My reason for becoming Vegan was because I don't want to support or be a part of the cruelty and injustices that any/all animals face. May I suggest also having informative events that relate to vegan product consumption. Knowledge about what animal ingredients are in the products we buy, what materials and organizations are cruelty free. How to make a difference with your purchasing power and support those who are contributing to the Vegan lifestyle.

I was expecting more of a presentation than a Q&A but I think it was extremely informative! I think there are a few things that could have made it more exciting (i.e. if there was music playing while we were waiting). Eric had great information and did well under pressure. A presenters energy sets the tone though, and while the conversation was engaging I think the environment could have benefited from a boost of enthusiasm. I like the idea of have different types of events in order to grow the community and to make it as welcoming and accessible to new members as possible. I would like to see a potluck event, an entertainment event, and an informative event each month. I'd also like to be considered to be a part of future informative events. If you do continue the Vegan Health events as a series or do a panel discussion, I'd love to be involved. I think I have a lot of knowledge and experience to offer and can provide a diverse perspective.

Very informative lecture on proteins. My only regret is that the Whole Foods near where I live does not have a Wellness Club!

Beautiful spring afternoon. The flowers were in their full state of bloom. With the wind blowing just right the fragrance of the Lilacs was incredible. Thank you for organizing this meet-up Reid. Also the Dinner afterwards was very good, Thank you Alan for the suggestion.

I really enjoyed my time at Lilacia. Unfortunately, I walked all around it with my family but didn't recognize anyone (looked for name tags), so we never actually met up with anyone! It was also very busy there, though--I am glad I went all the same.

Very beautiful flowers and smells. Relaxing to just walk around, talk to others and view the beauty of creation.

We were very fortunate to attend this at peak bloom for both lilacs and tulips. The park was very pleasant and the lilacs fragrant. The variety of flowers was a delight to behold.
