A fun meet-up. I would defenitely attend a similar one in the future. Not very often you can walk away from a cooking demonstration being able to utilize 100% of the recipes. I am looking forward to making them at home.

This was an excellent event. Katie was absolutely fabulous-funny, engaging, entertaining, and open to questions and comments. The event was a great value-$10 for a full meal, plus the class, including all the samples!

It was fun and an interesting chance to taste some new foods, get new cooking ideas, and talk with different people. Thank you to Chef Katie, our leader Vadim for connecting us with this event, and Whole Foods for hosting!

The potluck at Green Spirit was a wonderful event to meet some lovely people, indulge my taste-buds, and to further acquaint me with the world of raw v*ganism. Thank you to Linda and Vadim for hosting and organizing.

The event was fine, but I would have preferred to go to the vegan advocacy event instead. When the meetup was changed, it wasn't clear that the event had not changed, merely that the meetup was doing something different. If that had been clearer, I would have chosen to go on my own to the advocacy workshop and not the meetup event. I get that the goal is to get folks to attend meetup events, but sometimes, the larger goal of providing resources to the community should inform the decision making so that the communication is clearer.

Made me think about my diet and my relationship with the rest of the earth.

I really liked this speaker and the way she combined psychology, sociology and the dominant cultural "norms" into explanations for the diets people adapt. I was really happy to hear someone who thought "outside the box" and looks at the details when it comes to "why we eat what we eat" and is not afraid to question and examine the validity of the status quo. I thought I was the only one who did that when it came to diet! I liked the comparsions to some of the human atrocities like war to the factory farms and the way animals are treated because I really don't think they are all that different.

Good lecture, hope more people attend it who are not already vegan.

Excellent speaker , very well thought-out ideas & professional presentation. Perhaps the best I've seen. I'm very glad someone like her "is on our side"...

What a great event! Had so much fun, feeling the burn today though. The lecture was fantastic, would love to see more lectures and bring my children so they can learn more and hopefully convert. Also really enjoyed meeting the folks of Heart and learning about their organization.

Wow, great little workout, and it all came from a gym that supports a plant based diet. Thanks to Vadim and Mickey for organizing.
