Rod did a great introduction to raw foods - I was in the kitchen most of the event, but could here his presentation. If you're interested in learning more & need help getting started, I hold several classes in Chicago - more info at www.greenspiritliving.com. I have a raw Basics class coming soon - includes a full dinner, I keep the classes small so you can really learn and get your questions answered.

Rod taught me some fast & simple recipes to incorporate more raw food in my diet. He also shared his very valuable personal philosophy about living a better life and voting for a healthier world by way of purchasing organic. The organizers for Chicago Veg did an excellent job as always.

I enjoyed the Raw Food introduction and did purchase one of the two copies of the book Rod made available for sale. I live with a raw foodist so am hoping the book will help me learn more about how to prepare raw food.

I walked away from this event with some very practical culinery (not just for raw food) tips that chef Rod was so generously shared, thank you chef Rod.

Rod's approach to raw foods was both sensible and simple to prepare. He spoke of the S.A.D. (Standard American Diet) diet and addressed health concerns that we all face to different degrees. I'm so glad that he didn't proclaim any miracle cures and doesn't strictly adhere to any stern dogma. All of which I personally found to be truthful, authentic and genuine for making better nutritional lifestyle choices.

I brought my mom (it was the first raw food event for both of us) and we had a really great time!! The information was very helpful and the samples were delicious. Thank you to Vadim for putting the event together, and thank you to Rod for sharing his passion with us and all for free. We hope to be able to make it to other meet ups in the future!

This was a good meetup. The chef's talk in general was inspiring, very informational and I got lots of ideas with respect to food preparation. The tastings were great too.

I loved it. It was fun to watch him prepare the food. I learned a lot about preparing raw food in a simple easy style with few ingredients and very flavorful results. I also purchased his book and will use it often. I also liked the space and the "mime" was a nice touch. Thank you, Gina G.

Rod went over most things about raw food that I already knew, but the presentation was great. I enjoyed tasting his creations. I think it was a wonderful way for people not familiar with eating raw to learn about its many health benefits and versatility. I am so happy to be on this amazing raw journey!

I thought it was a well-presented overview of what raw foods is all about. The recipes and free samples were really great. We were so fortunate to have this opportunity to see Rod Rotondi speak & demo - all for free - can't beat it!

I did not attend but did watch via facebook. It was very good and I learned a few things. I was disappointed in the fact that it actually started at 7 pm but was promoted with a 6 pm start time.

Terrific evening! I'm so sorry I could not stay for all of it but there was a large enthusiastic crowd and he gave a great talk!

I gained a great deal of information from this session. Making lifestyle changes can be difficult. The more information you have the easier this change can be made. He provided me with more than a basic knowledge of raw food preparations and his view on organic versus non organic; bottled water, in addition to information on those super foods. Thank you for this fantastic learning opportunity.

If I was rating this event solely by the content of what Rod had to say, and share, the rating would be much higher. I really loved the information that Rod provided. I loved the samples, and I left feeling like I could really make a wonderful dietary lifestyle change, to last me the rest of my life. However, the venue began 1 hour late. The seating was not arranged prior to everyone arriving. The venue was too small for the turn out of people (and you knew how many people were coming). It was too warm and I was annoyed we weren't informed that it was being filmed for social media......which explained the delay. I have mobility issues, so standing for a very long time is very difficult for me. I was in a very bad mood by the time it finally began. Happily, Rod changed that.
