Come join us for a beautiful day of fun in the Sun!
Bring the family, there is plenty to do. Kayaking, canoes, paddle boats, tandem bike rentals or bring your own bike. Swimming, bike trails, walking trails, room for frisbee and lawn games.
Please bring a dish to pass and utensils, and your own table setting. There will be refreshments available at the cafe as well. Please post your dish so we make sure we have enough variety and label the ingredients on your dish. Vegan or vegetarian welcome. Please follow our potluck rules (http://www.meetup.com...)
Entrance to the park is free if you are a Lake County resident otherwise it is $10.00 per car, if you prefer to take the train (a good idea if you come from Chicago), the metra comes a mile from the park and there will be volunteers to pick you up and bring you to the park. Just let us know when you arrive.
