Udupi Palace Brunch
Come out for a delectable Sunday brunch courtesy of Udupi Palace. The restaurant is generously offering us a pre-fixe yummy vegan menu for $15 (including tip and tax; a great deal compared to ordering ala carte):
Appetizer
- 1 piece of Iddly (steamed rice and lentil patty)
- 1 piece of Vada (fried lentil donut)
Entree (served family-style)
- Chana Masala Curry (chick peas and tomato curry)
- Daal (lentil and onion curry)
- White Rice
- Lemon Rice
- Masala Dosa (crepe filled with potatoes and onions)
- Chapaty (whole wheat bread)
- Assorted vegan dipping sauces

KathleenThis was my 1st time getting together with the Chicagoveg group and I had a great time meeting people who shared some of my same interests. I look forward to future get togethers. I rearranged my work schedule and drove 1 hr 20 min to get there and was not disappointed.

MarleneAlthough the food was good, it was all based on rice, chickpeas and lentils. I would have like at least one green vegetable.
